What an amazing experience, I never knew there was a turtle reserve in this part of the world, I don’t know why but I always thought of the turtles as being more in tropical places!

I did that in Costa Rica, but we only got to see how the turtles came ashore to lay eggs, we didn’t see any baby turtles. It was a quite touching experience walking along the pitch dark beach approaching these beautiful animals without disturbing them; magic.

I had no idea that there was a turtle reserve in the UAE. The Ras Al Jinz Turtle reserve looks so great. It must have been a great experience seeing the turtles up close and watching them disappear into the sea. Have always wanted to watch Olive Ridley turtles and the hatching of their eggs. Hope to get to Oman and watch these amazing creatures in their natural environs.

What an amazing experience. We were able to visit a turtle sanctuary on Grand Cayman where we had the opportunity to snorkel with the turtles. But getting the opportunity to watch them lay eggs, or to see a newborn heading to the sea, is really special. I would live both the night and the daybreak tours.

Really enjoyed reading your blog. This was so informative and interesting. I completely agreed with your first sentence: Authentic animal encounters are a fantastic way to turn any trip into an unforgettable adventure. It’s just a must do thing, and these turtles are just adorable .You managed some really great photos, and thanks for sharing them.

It’s great to know that this reserve teaches the visitors about the turtles and about them being endagered.

I love going to turtle sanctuarys around the world and see the turtles crawl along the sand back into the sea. Would love to check out this place when I eventually get to Oman.
