Thanks for your message Amy. We experienced New Zealand in November. This was the spring and start of summer for them. Warm days and mild nights. Your trip in June/July will be winter time. It’s a vast country, but generally speaking the South Island will be a bit cooler. Typical temps in the North are 13*C and South can be half of that. I suspect this is when most people hit the ski slopes - so definitely would plan to bring warm clothes and later up. Happy travels.
